Easy Paper Plate Pizza Craft for Kids 🍕
A Fun Whisker Woods Activity Inspired by Hunny & Koko’s book “Hunny & Koko Go To Italy”
There’s nothing better than pizza night… unless it’s pizza craft night! 🍅🧀
Today in Whisker Woods, Hunny and Koko are getting creative in the kitchen with an easy paper plate pizza craft that’s perfect for little hands and big imaginations. This simple activity is great for ages 3–5 and works wonderfully for quiet afternoons, playdates, classrooms, or rainy days at home.
Best of all? You probably already have most of the supplies at home!
What You’ll Need
1 paper plate
Yellow construction paper
Red construction paper
Brown construction paper
Scissors (with grown-up help)
Glue stick or school glue
Crayons or markers
Optional toppings:
Green paper for peppers
Black paper for olives
White paper for mushrooms
👩🍳 How To Make Your Pizza
Step 1: Create the Crust
Use crayons or brown construction paper to make the outer edge of the paper plate look like a pizza crust.
Step 2: Add the Sauce
Cut a large red circle (or spread red coloring onto the middle of the plate) to create the pizza sauce.
Step 3: Sprinkle the Cheese
Cut yellow construction paper into little strips to look like shredded cheese and glue them all over the pizza.
Step 4: Add Toppings
Now comes the fun part!
Cut out circles, squares, or silly shapes for your favorite pizza toppings and glue them on.Will your pizza have:
Pepperoni?
Pineapple?
Mushrooms?
Extra cheese?
EVERYTHING?!
Hunny says more toppings = more fun.
Koko says carefully organized toppings only. 😄
I hope you enjoy the craft and next time you are in Whisker Woods you can grab a slice with the gang!
